Constitutional Amendments Election

Seven constitutional amendments will be on the November ballot.

These amendments take 2/3 votes to get on the ballot, so it takes at least some Democratic support for them to pass.

All were unanimous yes by Democrats except: 
Prop 4: 4 Dems voted no
Prop 5: 6 Dems voted no

March Primaries

The 2018 general election will be held in the U.S. state of Texas on November 6, 2018. All of Texas’ executive officers will be up for election as well as a United States Senate seat, and all of Texas’ thirty-six seats in the United States House of Representatives. Read More

In Garza County, the County Judge, District Attorney, County Treasurer, County Clerk and District Clerk are up for re-election.  County Commissioners in Precincts 2 and 4,  and all of the Justices of the Peace and County Courts at Law Judges are also up in 2018.
